Thursday, June 17th, 2010ORGANIZING THE FOOD STATIONS.
Even though people expect long lines at wedding buffets, here's your chance to buck the trend and eliminate the chafing-dish clogged lines. Instead of having one buffet table or station that all guests approach from the same direction. Position the table so it's not against a wall; this will allow guests to get to it from both sides. Then have identical dishes of food on both sides of the table. If you're having 100 or more guests it would be good a good idea to have two separate buffet tables.
If you are not setting up for your own reception or special occasion, ask your caterer to set up the buffet tables this way.
